1st tattoo - the name of the grandfather Walter in Arabic.
2nd tattoo - Yiang-yang symbol to remind him about the balance of life and to continue it with their feet on the ground.
3rd tattoo - the phrase "be true to who you are."
4th tattoo - fingers crossed near the left elbow for good luck.
5th tattoo - a letter from a deck rib with a crown and the initials ZM it.
6th tattoo - before there was a Chinese symbol in the stomach which means "born lucky" now has a heart on top means love.
7th tattoo - the new Fantail is a feather of a bird found in southern NZ, which symbolizes new life, new beginning
