There were goosebumps on her legs and discovered the winter rains had taken some of his tattoo of the flag of the United Kingdom made at home, but she did not care. "The One Direction is in my town," she said, "which means that I'm breathing the same air as them."
She pauses for a moment to think the unbelievable fact. And then she throws her head back and gives a huge shout.
The British group formed by five boys, who were in third position in the X Factor in 2010 are on their first U.S. tour and causing nothing more than a great earthquake teenager. Still not like Beatlemania, but it is growing more every day.
The mentor of the band was on X Factor Simon Cowell, who offered them a contract in the Syco label. Last month, their song What Makes You Beautiful won a Brit for Best Single and many dates for their shows in the UK next year are already sold out. And they already have fans in the U.S., which shows that the "effect" of One Direction is happening.
Hours before show time, thousands of fans were already gathering outside the Agganis Arena, located on the west side of the city center.
On this tour with ten dates, One Direction is just the opening act for an American group called Big Time Rush, but it is obvious who is the real attraction.
The One Direction is not just for girls moving out of their homes for events, and heartthrobs fan base for American teenagers, and they are also among the few British artists of recent decades to be successful in the U.S. market.
Why are these new generation of kids are being so successful while many others failed hopeful the UK?
The Directioners of course has all the answers. "The One Direction is very different from American bands. They are educated. And I love their accents, "said Sydney.
"I love your hair. They have voices of angels, although they are just normal kids, "said Jillian, who added that she loves all things including England's" big red buses that they have and also to Adele. "
And while the group - Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - are incredibly cute, but the real Directioner loves kids more than just their appearance.
"They are so sincere," added Sydney. "Boys Americans can be rude, but the One Direction is not so. They are very clean and classic. "
Inside the hall, the tension increases. The fans scream Pelor videos that are on a screen, they scream at the slightest movement on stage, they scream at each other.
There are many parents in the audience, just acting like statues, you can see many bewildered, stunned parents looking to be in the midst of this whirlwind of screams, light, floral scents and teenagers with their hormones exploding.
Bailey Mudge, 15, and Katelyn Colon, 16, spent most of the night before making their own t-shirts One Direction.
Poer that Katelyn has small neon sign on your carrot? "Louis once said that love girls who love carrots," she explained. They know that some band members have girlfriends, but that's okay. "We just want them to be happy," said Bailey.
Both think that Harry's relationship with TV presenter for 32 years, Caroline Flack was "a little strange." But all they want is for him to be happy, so I was "okay."
With One Direction on stage, every expense was spared. A black cloth with the band name printed in large letters hung in the background. A roadie is the stage (gritos!) with water bottles and stands in front of monitors. Once the arrangement of the stage remains, exactly. Not that the fans care. In front of the stage, they shake their gifts and glow sticks, take pictures of themselves doing this sort of thing. A man who is selling t-shirts One Direction outrageous $ 33 for doing a tremendous success.
From top to bottom has thousands of home-made poster being put up.
Some of them are statements of emotion (Niall you light my world like no one else), some are true statements of missions (One love, One dream, one direction), some are funny (Take a look in that direction), some contain information ( We drove 410 miles to get here), while some claim the fact that a girl will always leave the bottom side (One Direction remain bare with me).
And when the group finally took the stage shortly after 7:30, the screaming reaches an intensity that is painful to bear.
"Hello Boston," cries Harry, and in exchange receives thousands of screaming that probably passed like needles in your hearing.
To make it worse, Boston reserve a further warm reception for the Irishman Niall. Whenever Niall jumps or wave to the audience, take the screams frightening proportions.
The group of five kids is not complete at the time, as Zayn had to leave the tour to return to the UK after a loss in your family.
By far, he missed at least two dates, but people close to the band insist he will return soon.
On stage, the quartet wears amazing. They dress in a mixture of red, blue and white, and make a point of thanking the fans for their support - and remind them of buying their music in pre-sales.
Of course, they are totally gorgeous, Harry with his curly hair and his dimples, blonde, cute and Niall, Liam with his prints and his smile Chess passionate, and Louis with his dark and looks beautiful.
On top of that aesthetic bliss, they carefully calibrate and adjust the music to calm the teen angst. Put another way, they sing the lyrics that every teenage girl wants to hear.
In "What Makes You Beautiful," they win. "You barely know it's beautiful."
They are extremely polite at every opportunity. "Everything we do is for you guys, so thank you very much," says Harry.
In television interviews and promotional, they deal with the craziest questions with charm. In an interview with a Boston radio earlier in the day, Liam was asked what he would do if he were not in the band. "I would open a candy store," he said, captivating.
Certainly, in the canteen of the pop bands are not as manufactured and as sweet as the One Direction. They even auditioned for X Factor together, individually, they failed and were then placed in a group by the producers.
Taking Niall who plays a little guitar, they do not play any instruments on stage, but they sing perfectly.
Anyway, all that discriminate saying they are a type of cheap karaoke are not certain. Every year, thousands of young boys try and fail to make the mission successful on both sides of the Atlantic. While One Direction has already won everything.
All they need do is keep together as a group and as individuals, not minding the occasional problems caused by being in a band, and the world and all the wealth that they are winning.
The cold night comes to yes, and their ears hurt, I go back and talk to Sydney Jillian again after all the emotions of the show. The next day, they are planning to wake up early to go to a mall where the One Direction will make a public appearance.
They have prepared a strategy ("We'll be legal. They do not like girls who cry all the time") and have thought about what they speak to their heroes. "I would ask to speak Niall potato," said Sydney. "Then I could hear the accent."
As the Beatles once spoke, money can not buy that kind of love.
